I have created an animatic using my storyboard in order to visualise the sequence of my music video. Whilst creating it I took notice of which shots flowed well and where needed more variety. In some places I added more shots as some lasted much longer than others. I also adjusted some shots to add more variety in the shot types.
I have created a script to clearly outline what is happening in each part of the song. Each scene is linked with a lyric in the song so it is clear what order it will be in. This will further help me when filming as when I am filming the performance aspects it will be easy to reference which specific parts of the song are needed for each shot.
I have created a storyboard to visualise each scene of my music video. This will help when it comes to filming and editing as I will know what order things need to be in and what shot types should be used. For each shot I have drawn what the scene will look like, some scenes will be repeated so I have numbered them appropriately to show when and how many times they will appear.
We were given the challenge to edit together a series of shots to create an action scene using shots taken in lesson. In my first edit I ran out of time and only managed to complete the first few shots. I tried to choose shots that made sense for that part, it could be improved by being more carefully edited.
Version 2:
In the second edit I took more time to make sure the shots flow well together and make sense for that specific part. I also further focused on the audio to ensure there was no overlapping as this could make it seem quite messy, I made sure the audio was between -6 and -20 as this is the standard for volume being suitable. Overall I think the edit came out quite well, it maybe could be improved by further ensuring the shots aren't jumping when they change, it was quite difficult to do this due to the limited number of shots.
